The My Body Is My Body Program is a groundbreaking initiative that is making a real difference in communities worldwide. It is a Free, internationally acclaimed musical body safety program designed to educate children on body safety through engaging and age- appropriate music, activities, and animated videos. The programme aims to help children develop an understanding of what is and isn't appropriate behaviour towards their bodies, how to identify potentially harmful situations, and how to ask for help if needed.
What sets this program apart is the unique approach it takes to tackle this sensitive topic. The six songs in the program are designed to be fun and engaging for children, making it easier to open up lines of communication about potentially difficult subjects. Each song has a specific objective, such as teaching children that their bodies are their own, to listen to their feelings, and to say no with authority. The program also teaches children to speak up and how to tell if they have a problem and reinforces the importance of sharing and trusting in loving relationships, and shows them that keeping secrets when someone is hurting them is not a good thing to do.
